Two decades inside the hotel industry means we read a property the way you'd read a résumé. Which room is worth it, which one is a view of the parking structure, and which "renovation" was a coat of paint.

We don't recommend from brochures. We recommend the specific hotel room, the specific train, the specific market — because we were standing in it, deciding whether it was worth it.
